This weekend there was a Red Bull Air Race held in London, a great event to have in London if you ask me! Good fun to watch and also good for London, with people spending money there whilst visiting the city.
But apparently not everyone feels the same way, I was trying to find some information about the new film “Flood” which is coming out soon when I came across this comment on the website of the Daily Mail:
“I live between London City Airport and the River Thames, The only time we get some peace to have the windows open or sit in the garden is at weekends when the airport is closed.
This has been spoiled by these noisy planes buzzing around like angry wasps.
Once the planes had stopped they finished the night off with a firework display.
Central London wants all the glamour why can’t they have this as well.
It has ruined my weekend and hopefully it will never be run again.

What is wrong with some people? Why can’t they just put up with one irritation for one weekend, it sounds like a grumpy old sod who complains at every single thing. I come into contact with them at work alot unfortunately, they seem to just want to complain for the sake of complaining. Mainly I think because they have nothing else to do in their lives.
Alas, at least for the moment the Red Bull air race is going on and doesn’t look like its going to go away thankfully! With any luck it will be back next year with some better weather!
The Red Bull airrace was ace and I hope they have it in London again cause it was a great venue!
People always moan about anything that is slightly different and unfortunately it makes the news!
