Last Sunday when I went to see the Shoreham Airport Motorshow, I went via Shoreham Airport’s Main Terminal and whilst I was there I saw the Grace Spitfire parked outside the communal hanger, so I took a few photos (which was quite hard considering it was surrounded by crowds) and went off to the motorshow. I came back from the motoshow to see it taxi out and take off (pursued by a Sky News Helicopter). I took a few more photos, and when I got home I decided to edit one of them to see how it would come out. I do sort of like the effect – but I do have a feeling I did ruin a perfectly good photo. I took a sepia background and pasted the spitfire and centre line of the taxiway in colour over the top of it.
