Just one shot so far from last weekend's RAFA Shoreham Airshow, I still have quite a few photos to work through from a very busy weekend. But for now here is one which stood out for me.

Miss Demeanour
Jonathon "Flapjack" Whaley tears around the bottom of Beachy Head in his Hawker Hunter "Miss Demeanour" as he runs in to start his display at the 2011 Eastbourne Airbourne International Airshow.
Just one shot so far from the 2011 Eastbourne Airbourne International Airshow, this was taken on the Sunday of the airshow. I have only managed to get a few shots processed so far, there are a handfull on my Flickr but a full photo post will be coming here soon!
Commando Assault
Every Yeovilton Air Day culminates with the fantastic Commando Assault with the resident Sea King and Lynx squadrons providing support for Royal Marines taking part in a scenario.
This year the scenario involved Terrorists, a Hostage and plenty of support explosions whenever a FRADU Hawk flew overhead, simulating strafing and bomb runs.
In this photo a Sea King comes in to land and collect the rescued hostage while more Sea Kings reposition behind the crowd prior to dropping off more Royal Marines to finish off the Terrorists.
