Yesterday whilst the rest of the country was smothered under a thick layer of cloud and rain, Sussex and specifically Shoreham fortunately escaped and was treated with clear blue skies for much of the day.
Even better luck for me, this day coincided with my day off from work. I couldn’t resist the urge to go out and take some photos, so I decided to head off down to The Beach to enjoy the weather while it lasted! (Although the forecast is now predicting a sunny weekend)
These are just a couple of digital photos I took yesterday. I have recently been reconverted to film (but thats a story for another post) however the films I took are currently off at The Lab to be processed. So in the meantime just a couple of shots:

This was the rather impressive view from the shore on the beach, looking up over the top of The South Downs towards the looming weather front blanketing the rest of the country.

The view along the coast was quite impressive with the only real haze affecting visibility was heat haze from the beach. In this photo Brighton and Hove are easily visible as are the Seven Sisters and Beachy Head.
Unfortunately that’s all for now, hopefully the films should be back from the lab soon for me to upload and post.
For some reason the old Shoreham Photos Gallery has stopped working, I apologise for this. While I try to get the site up and running again I have uploaded a few images to the new gallery I have been working on at:

Once again I apologise, and hopefully I can get the site fixed soon.
