This is a shot from last year of a sunset which caught my eye while I was walking along the sea front at Rustington in West Sussex. I was hoping for the birds on the beach to fly away and leave a lovely clean beach, unfortunately they didn’t so I think the beach looks a little cluttered. There are a few things I do love about this photo, like the ripple effect in the sand which mimics the sea, and the way the colours of the sky are reflected in the wet sand showing the path of the sun leading the eye through the photo.
